Ultra-Clean PFA Tubing | Custom Solutions for Semiconductor Photoresist Transfer
Ultra-clean PFA tubing serves as an indispensable core pipeline for semiconductor photoresist transfer systems, thanks to its outstanding chemical inertness, ultra-low metallic ion leaching, superior inner-wall smoothness and stable performance across a wide temperature range.
As chip manufacturing processes advance toward advanced nodes, fabs impose stricter specifications on purity and particle control for photoresist delivery tubing. Acting as the critical fluid conduit connecting storage tanks, pumps, valves and other components, ultra-clean PFA tubing must withstand long-term corrosion from potent organic solvents contained in photoresists while maintaining minimal metallic ion and particle shedding. This prevents photoresist contamination and safeguards production yield for advanced-node chips.
For a long time, China's domestic market for semiconductor-grade ultra-clean PFA tubing has relied heavily on imports, with premium-grade products for advanced logic and memory chip fabrication dominated by a small number of international manufacturers. To tackle technical hurdles surrounding core semiconductor fluid pipeline materials, Miracle has consistently invested in R&D to refine precision extrusion molding of high-purity PFA, break bottlenecks in metallic leaching control and upgrade full-process clean manufacturing technologies. Meanwhile, the company speeds up qualification verification and on-site implementation at mainstream fabs and semiconductor equipment suppliers. Featuring outstanding batch consistency, robust chemical resistance and ultra-high purity, Miracle's product portfolio precisely meets the stringent requirements of advanced-node photoresist delivery systems, underpinning localized supply chain independence and sustainable development of critical semiconductor consumables.
1. Exceptional Chemical Resistance
Fabricated from high-purity PFA resin via proprietary optimized processes, Miracle tubing boasts enhanced density and uniform molecular structure with minimized micropores and fusion defects, effectively blocking penetration paths for corrosive media and drastically improving resistance to swelling and chemical degradation.
After prolonged immersion in common photoresist organic solvents (including PGMEA and cyclohexanone) as well as wet-process chemicals such as sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid, the tubing exhibits no swelling, cracking or mass loss. Accelerated testing confirms no obvious change in appearance or dimension and negligible extractables after 168 hours of immersion in 37% hydrochloric acid at 85°C, matching the world's top-tier imported alternatives in chemical resistance.

2. Ultra-Low Metallic Ion Leaching
Manufactured with high-precision production equipment, Miracle ultra-clean PFA tubing delivers exceptional material purity. In compliance with the Group Standard Semiconductor-Grade Meltable Polytetrafluoroethylene (PFA) Tubing, leaching levels of key metallic elements including aluminum, calcium, chromium, iron and sodium are all kept below specified thresholds. In particular, its control over critical impurities such as sodium, iron and calcium matches or outperforms comparable international products, ensuring full-path fluid purity from pipeline to wafer substrate.
3. Low TOC and Particle release
Finished tubing undergoes ultrasonic cleaning plus multi-stage ultrapure water rinsing to eliminate organic residues and loose surface particulates on inner walls. While the governing standard caps total organic carbon (TOC) at ≤2000 μg/m², Miracle's actual measured TOC is controlled below 60% of this limit. Particle shedding complies with SEMI industry standards, resulting in extremely few detached inner-wall particles during particle-sensitive processes such as photoresist coating and development, effectively avoiding wafer scratching or circuit short-circuit defects.

4. Ultra-Smooth Inner Surface
Utilizing high-precision extrusion dies and tightly stabilized process parameters, Miracle tubing consistently achieves inner-wall surface roughness (Ra) ≤0.25 μm. AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy) inspection verifies flaw-free inner surfaces free of microcracks, which curbs fluid turbulence, reduces particle adhesion and prevents residual chemical buildup.
Tailored to the extreme technical demands of advanced semiconductor manufacturing for photoresist conveyance, Miracle self-developed Miracle ultra-clean PFA tubing addresses stringent operating conditions requiring ultra-high cleanliness and superior chemical resistance, stabilizing fluid delivery systems and boosting wafer fabrication yield.
